iBomma administrator Immadhi Ravi sent to 14-day judicial custody
A Hyderabad court has remanded iBomma website administrator Immadhi Ravi to 14 days judicial custody in connection with multiple piracy cases. Police allege Ravi uploaded pirated films across websites, amassed properties worth crores, and facilitated online betting.

Hyderabad: A local court in the city on Wednesday sent Immadhi Ravi, administrator of iBomma website, to 14 judicial custody in another case. The Hyderabad police had registered five cases against Ravi in connection with uploading pirated versions of movies on different websites.
He was arrested by the police ten days ago and remanded in a case. The court had granted five days custody to the police for investigation. After the custody ended on Tuesday, the police produced him before the court and remanded him again.
On Wednesday, the police again produced him before the court in the remaining four cases. The court ordered a 14 day judicial remand. The police will file a custody petition before the court to question him in connection with the cases.
The police during their investigations so far found that Ravi amassed huge properties in the city and elsewhere through the illicit money he acquired through the piracy business. He was also involved in facilitating online betting. The police said Ravi earned over Rs 20 crore through the illegal business.
