ICA nominates Pragyan Ojha to IPL Governing Council
After due deliberations and taking into consideration, ICA found the 34-year-old Ojha as the right candidate to represent them.

Hyderabad: In a big boost to his second innings of his cricketing career, former India and Hyderabad left-arm spinner Pragyan Ojha has been nominated by the Board of Directors of the Indian Cricketers Association (ICA) to represent their body in the Indian Premier League’s Governing Council.
In a statement issued on Wednesday, it said that ICA AGM held on December 19, and the members had authorized the Board of Directors to nominate the member to the IPL GC and the ICA Board. After due deliberations and taking into consideration, ICA found the 34-year-old Ojha as the right candidate to represent them. This nomination will hold good for one year.
The AGM conducted via video conference, touched upon the issues by the ICA representatives to the BCCI Apex Council to further the cause of ICA’s members.
Ojha, who retired from first class cricket last year, played in 24 Tests and captured 113 wickets. He also played in 18 ODIs and six T20 matches for India.
