ICAR-NAARM hosts 33rd AERA conference from December 1 to 3

ICAR–NAARM is hosting the 33rd Annual Conference of the Agricultural Economics Research Association from December 1–3 as part of its Golden Jubilee celebrations. The event focuses on agribusiness innovation, women’s empowerment, and climate-resilient agriculture through panel discussions, keynotes and technical sessions

Hyderabad: ICAR–National Academy of Agricultural Research Management (NAARM) is organising the 33rd Annual Conference of Agricultural Economics Research Association (AERA), India, from December 1 to 3 at ICAR-NAARM, Hyderabad.

This year’s conference holds special significance as ICAR-NAARM is celebrating its Golden Jubilee year, marking five decades of contributions to agricultural research, education and extension systems through capacity building, and policy advocacy for the National Agricultural Research and Education System (NARES).

The central theme of the conference is Innovations in Agribusiness, Empowering Women, and Climate-Resilient Agriculture. Discussions will focus on enabling policies for agricultural prosperity, agri-food systems for sustainable rural development, bridging gender gaps and advancing gender equity, climate-smart technologies and policies for sustainable and resilient growth in agriculture.

The three-day programme will feature panel discussions, keynote addresses, technical sessions, research paper presentations, symposia, and a student mentorship workshop, a press release said.
