ICC to develop world-class mobile cricket game

The EOI process invites leading game developers, publishers, and gaming ventures to express their interest in building a transformative cricket game. Shortlisted parties will be invited to a formal tender process at the conclusion of the EOI.

The International Cricket Council (ICC), in collaboration with its 12 Full Member Boards,  launched an Expression of Interest (EOI) process on Monday to identify potential partners to develop and publish a new, world class mobile cricket game that reflects the global appeal and rich heritage of cricket.

This initiative marks a significant and strategic milestone for the sport. In a much-anticipated step forward for cricket fans, the ICC and its Members are aligning to present a unified opportunity to the global market—offering a clear pathway for a visionary partner to help shape the future of cricket fandom through a cricket game.

“Cricket has one of the most passionate and diverse fanbases in global sport. This project represents a unique opportunity and step forward to reimagine how cricket is experienced and celebrated in the digital world,” ICC chairman Jay Shah said.

“By bringing together the ICC and its Full Members, we are laying the foundation for a cricket game that engages the modern audience and reflects the global scale of our game,” he said.
