ICRISAT, Kaveri University sign MoU to boost research collaboration

Siddipet: The International Crops Research Institute for the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Kaveri University, located at Gouraram in Mulug mandal of Siddipet district, on Wednesday. ICRISAT Director General Dr Himanshu Pathak and Kaveri University Chancellor GV Bhaskar Rao exchanged copies of the MoU.
The agreement aims to promote research collaboration and student exchange between the two institutions. Both parties agreed to share research findings and encourage academic interaction.
Addressing students and faculty at Kaveri University, Dr Pathak urged them to contribute to India’s progress by developing advanced technologies. He stressed the need to improve agricultural productivity to meet national needs and make farming more profitable for farmers. He also encouraged students to visit ICRISAT and learn from the ongoing research at the institute.
Dr Pathak later visited the university laboratories and interacted with students. Kaveri University Vice-Chancellor Dr V Pravin Rao, Registrar B Srinivasulu and other officials were present.
