Identify dilapidated houses in Siddipet: Commissioner asks officials
Since Sididpet town has witnessed heavy rain on Sunday, the Commissioner examined the situation by inspecting various locations on Monday.
Siddipet: Siddipet Municipal Commissioner KV Ramana Chary instructed the municipal staff to identify the houses which are in dilapidated condition across the town.
Since Sididpet town has witnessed heavy rain on Sunday, the Commissioner examined the situation by inspecting various locations on Monday. Asking the municipal staff to serve notices on the owners of the dilapidated houses, Chary said that the collapse of the houses may lead to human loss during the rainy season. He directed them to ensure all such house dwellers vacated the houses because the town is receiving continuous rains during the rainy season.
As the citizens complained of clogged drains overflowing when the town witnesses rain, Chary instructed the sanitary inspectors to clean the drains regularly. He also directed them to build slabs on some drains and mesh on drains where the declogging needs to be carried out regularly.
