IGBC Hyderabad official elected as vice chair of WGBC’s Asia Pacific Regional Network

Hyderabad: z’s Indian Green Building Council (IGBC) principal counsellor Muthukrishnan Anand has joined global sustainability leaders on World Green Building Council’s (WGBC’s) Asia Pacific Regional Network (APN).
He has been elected as vice chair of APN, an influential group of global leaders that is driving forward the largest global-regional-local action network to deliver net zero, healthy, equitable and sustainable built environments for everyone, everywhere.
Cristina Gamboa, CEO, World Green Building Council, said, “Anand has been a true champion of sustainability and has worked tirelessly to position the best practices in the building and construction industry as central solutions to face the climate change, health and environmental crises.”
Anand is a passionate green building professional, working with CII since 1996. Operating from Hyderabad, he has been leading IGBC’s green building initiatives and actively involved in WorldGBC activities since 2004.
He is also showcasing India’s landmark, unique IGBC certified projects and achievements across the global community through WorldGBC networks. Guinness World Records has awarded Anand, with Certification of Participation as a “Speaker” in 2019.
