Visakhapatnam: IIM Visakhapatnam once again concluded MBA 2019-21 Placements with 100% success.
In the first-ever Virtual Placements, Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Visakhapatnam has completed the final placements for the batch of 2019-21 for its flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP). Despite the impact of COVID-19 and the market slowdown this year, recruiters reposed continued faith in the Institute. The entire process was
conducted in virtual mode.
The Institute has the pride of maintaining its legacy of 100% placements on the strength of the unwavering support of our esteemed recruiters and the efforts of our students. Held on a rolling basis, the placement season witnessed more than 100 companies participating in the process and making multiple offers with 72 new recruiters offering roles across various domains, including Consulting, BFSI, Strategy, Sales & Marketing, HR, IT & Analytics. There has been an
overwhelming increase in the number of recruiters willing to partner with the Institute, an indication of its rapid strides over the five years since inception, that continued in 2020-21, notwithstanding the challenges posed by the pandemic.
Some of the prominent recruiters were Amazon, Amul, Anand Rathi, AU Bank, BlueStar, Byju’s, Deloitte, ESAF Bank, Foxconn, Franklin Templeton, HCL, ICICI Lombard, ICICI Prudential, Inmobi, KPMG, MuSigma, MTR, NCR Corporation, SBI GI, TA Digital, TATA AIA, TATA Power, Tech Mahindra, TVS Motors, YES Bank, and Zetwerk.
