IIT graduate electrocuted while removing flexi banner in Siddipet
Vivek Kiran Reddy, a 22-year-old IIT graduate, died after being electrocuted while removing a flexi banner that touched overhead power lines in Siddipet. Police have registered a case, and the body was sent for postmortem.

Siddipet: A young IIT graduate was electrocuted at his apartment in Thornala area of Siddipet town on Tuesday morning. The victim was identified as Vivek Kiran Reddy (22).
According to police, Vivek was going upstairs in the apartment when he tried to remove a hanging flexi banner that had come into contact with overhead power lines. The moment he touched it, he suffered a severe electric shock and died on the spot.
Vivek had recently completed his graduation from an IIT and returned home to spend time with his parents, Yadava Reddy and Anjali, who were left inconsolable after the tragedy.
The police have registered a case and launched an investigation. The body was shifted to the government hospital in Siddipet for postmortem.
