IIT Hyderabad Half Marathon 2025 to be held on November 30

Hyderabad: The second edition of the IIT Hyderabad Half Marathon 2025, hosted by the IIT Hyderabad Runners Club, continues its mission of promoting physical well-being, campus camaraderie, and a culture of resilience when the city hosts the event on November 30.
With participation expected to exceed last year’s numbers, the 2025 edition is set to highlight the institute’s vibrant spirit while showcasing one of India’s most picturesque and thoughtfully designed university campuses.
The events include the scenic Innovation Nature Half Marathon (21.1 km). The flagship category takes runners from the world-class SNCC sports and cultural complex through the scenic peripheral roads, the iconic technology boulevard, and the academic and hostel zones.
The 10K Timed Run mirrors the half-marathon route and is expected to be perfect for intermediate runners seeking a challenging yet beautiful course.
The 5K Timed Run is popular among beginners and recreational runners, offering participants a refreshing tour of the academic and hostel blocks while finishing at the SNCC.
The 5K Fun Run is a no-pressure, no-timing category for families, groups of friends, and campus visitors who want to soak in the IITH experience without the stopwatch. This run includes no RFID tracking and is ideal for a relaxed campus exploration.
