Sangareddy: Indian Institute of Technology-Hyderabad (IIT-H) conducted its 9th and 10th Joint Convocation in virtual mode. In all, 1323 degrees were conferred on students, who wer clad in specially designed Pochampalli Stoles.
Congratulating graduating students on the occasion, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan exhorted the students to take up the responsibility of ensuring rejuvenation of the country through research, experimentation and innovation and hoped that the students would channellise their energy to contribute to the nation’s cause
Board of Governors Chairman, BVR Mohan Reddy said technology had enabled people during the last 18 months of the pandemic to swiftly adapt socially and culturally to the new reality. IIT-H Director Prof B S Murty presented the Institute Report for 2020-2021. he said. 1,303 students graduated from the 2020 & 2021 batch in the august presence of Hon’ble Minister of Education Shri Dharmendra Pradhan with 8 Gold Medals & 47 Silver Medals
