Nizamabad: Illicit affair claimed life of a youth in Nizamabad town. After seeing his wife with another man in his absence in his house, a man killed a youth by attacking him with a steel rod at Aryanagar area of Nizamabad city.

Umakanth, a worker at a private company, was living with his wife and children at Arayanagar. On Saturday night, he went to work and arrived home in the wee hours of Sunday and found his wife with Solomanraj, a plumber living at a nearby apartment.

On seeing both of them, the livid Umakanth attacked his wife and her alleged paramour Solomanraj with a steel rod killing the latter on the spot. Then, Umankanth fled the spot. After being informed by the locals, Nizamabad fourth town CI Satyanarayana and SI reached the spot and conducted an inquiry. The body of Solomanraj was sent for post mortem. A case was registered and the probe is under way.
