Hyderabad: Even as winter is gaining strength in the city, with the minimum temperature dipping by the day, there are chances of rainfall in some areas on Wednesday and Thursday.
As for the winter chill, the overall minimum temperature recorded in the city on Tuesday was 17.9 degree Celsius, with the lowest temperature of 15.6 degree Celsius recorded at Rajendranagar.
The forecast from the Telangana State Development Planning Society said a few parts of the city might record up to 2.5 mm of rainfall on Wednesday and Thursday. The India Meteorological Department, Hyderabad, too has forecast light to moderate rainfall on December 12 and 13.
Meanwhile, the night temperature at several places in Telangana has dipped below 15 degree Celsius. On Tuesday, Rangareddy recorded the lowest minimum temperature in the State of 14 degree Celsius. Temperatures at districts including Medak, Sangareddy, Kamareddy, Nirmal and Nizamabad are likely to dip further in the next two days.
