IMD issues heatwave warning to multiple districts
The IMD Hyderabad has issued a heatwave warning for ten districts, expecting temperatures up to 44°C. Simultaneously, a heavy rainfall alert and thunderstorm warnings with gusty winds have been issued for several other Telangana districts over the next three days

Hyderabad: The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad on Friday issued a heatwave warning to multiple districts with the mercury in at least ten districts expected to range from 41 degree Celsius to 44 degrees Celsius over the next two to three days.
The alert has been issued to KomuramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jagtial, Karimnagar, Peddapalli and Jayashankar Bhupalpally districts.
A one-day heavy rainfall warning was also issued for Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Mahabubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts, which are likely to witness rainfall between 64.5 mm and 115.6 mm.
Apart from heat wave and heavy rainfall warnings, the IMD also issued thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds warning to several districts for next two-days. The districts include Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal-Malkajgiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal districts
