IMD predicts hot, dry weather with evening showers in Hyderabad
Hyderabad is expected to witness hot and dry conditions with temperatures around 40°C on Thursday, followed by evening thundershowers, lightning, and gusty winds, as similar weather patterns prevail across Telangana, according to IMD forecasts.
Hyderabad: The weather in Hyderabad will remain quite hot and dry on Thursday with spells of thundershowers accompanied by lightning at sporadic locations toward the latter half of the day.
The maximum daytime temperatures across Hyderabad and its neighbouring districts are expected to touch 40 degree Celsius while the minimum will be close to 28 degree Celsius.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad weather forecast on Thursday morning said “Partly cloudy sky. Light rain or thundershowers accompanied with gusty winds (30-40kmphs) are very likely to occur in parts of the city towards evening or night. Maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 40 degree C and 28 degree C respectively”.
A similar pattern of extreme day time temperatures, with some of the districts in Telangana expected to witness 41 degree Celsius to 44 degree Celsius, followed by spells of thundershowers, lightning and gusty winds are expected to continue across all the districts on Thursday, IMD, Hyderabad forecast on Thursday indicated.
