Hyderabad: A virtual meeting of the State Level Bankers’ Committee of Telangana was held on January 7 to review the performance of Banks under PM SVanidhi scheme, by Sanjay Kumar, Additional Secretary, MOHUA, Government of India.
GB Panda from DFS, Aravind Kumar, Special Chief Secretary Municipal Administration, Government of Telangana, Dr N Satyanarayana, MD-MEPMA, Lokesh Kumar, GHMC Commissioner, Krishan Sharma, General Manager SBI &Convenor SLBC, Controllers of Banks and LDMs participated in the meeting.
Banks in Telangana have done well under PMSVanidhi Tranche1 by disbursing loans to 3,45,100 street vendors, surpassing the disbursal target of 3,40,000. All Banks affirmed that they aim to sanction the pending applications under Tranche 1 and Tranche 2 by 15th and disburse by January 25.
