Hyderabad: Former Hyderabad Ranji captain P Akshath Reddy scored 78 as Income Tax defeated Balaaji CC by four runs in the quarterfinal match of the HCA A1 3day one-day knockout tournament at ECIL, on Tuesday.

Batting first, G Arjun and Geeta Krishna scalped four wickets each to skittle out Income Tax to 213 in 38.3 overs. In reply, Simha slammed 93 but his side managed 209/8 in 45 overs.
