India Pharma Expo 2026 highlights Telangana’s pharma growth

India Pharma Expo and NextGen Pharma Summit 2026 in Hyderabad highlighted Telangana’s growing role in the global pharmaceutical sector. Industry leaders and policymakers discussed innovation, investment and future growth in life sciences during the three-day event.

Hyderabad: The India Pharma Expo & NextGen Pharma Summit & Awards 2026, at the HITEX Exhibition Centre, continued into day 3 with deeper deliberations on innovation, investment, and strengthening India’s global pharmaceutical leadership.

The event brought together policymakers, industry leaders, investors and innovators to drive conversations around the next phase of growth in the life sciences sector.


Dr Ravi Gupta, Founder and CEO, Elets Technomedia and Editor-in-Chief, eHealth Magazine, said, “India Pharma Expo and Summit 2026 is our continued effort to drive transformation and shape the future of this sector.”

The NextGen Pharma Awards ceremony was held in the presence of C Damodar Raja Narasimha, Health Minister.

The summit also featured keynote and special addresses from Gareth Wynn Owen, British Deputy High Commissioner, Sudarshan Jain, Secretary General, Indian Pharmaceutical Alliance, KK Maheshwari, Senior Vice President, The Federation of Telangana Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FTCCI), K Rajabhanu, Director General, Pharmexcil, and Dr Y Sridhar Reddy, Secretary of Industry Pharmacy Division, Indian Pharmaceutical Association.
