Dubai: Bowlers led by Kuldeep Yadav and Hardik pandya did the magic trick for India in the middle overs in the Champions Trophy clash against Pakistan at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium. After Saud Shakeel and Mohammed Rizwan steadied the Pakistan innings with a 104-run stand to help Pakistan recover from 47/2, Kuldeep and Pandya bagged two wickets each with the former missing a hat-trick, taking India to a strong position. Axar Patel and Ravindra Jadeja bagged a wicket each to reduce Pakistan to 213 for 7 at the end of the 45th over.

Earlier, India suffered a minor scare when pacer Mohammed Shami had to go out of the field for about 20 minutes for treatment, apparently for a shin issue. But he returned to the field and bowled after the 11th over.

Skipper Rohit Sharma too stayed away from the field for some time after feeling uncomfortable in Dubai heat. However, Rohit too returned to the field.
