On India's 72nd Republic Day we look back at the moments citizens of this country came together against all odds and all adversities, in what was possibly the worst year the world has ever seen.

Groups of protesting farmers camping at Singhu, Tikri and Ghazipur border points of the national capital broke police barricades on Tuesday morning to force their way into the city.
