- UY Aviation Pvt Ltd King Air C-90 aircraft VT-UPZ met with an accident in Mumbai on June, 2018
- 5 killed after the plane crashed near a construction site in Ghatkopar
3. Mangalore air crash
- One of the country`s most disastrous crashes
- More 160 people dead after an Air India flight from Dubai overshot the runway at Mangalore airport
- This was in May 2010
Recent Military Crashes
1. MiG-21 Bison crash in Punjab
Squadron leader Abhinav Choudhary died in the crash while on his way back from Punjab`s Moga to his base in Suratgarh in May, 2021
2. MiG Bison Crash Gwalior
Happened on March 17, 2017, in Madhya Pradesh`s Gwalior, when Captain Ashish Gupta was taking a combat training mission. Gupta was killed in the crash.
3. AN-32 crash
The transporter aircraft AN-32 was moving from Assam to Arunachal Pradesh on June 3 and lost all communications. Remains of the aircraft were found on June 20, 2020. 13 IAF Personnel were killed
4. MiG-21 crash In PoK
Piloted by Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, the MiG-21 crashed during a face-off with Pakistani fighter jets on February 27, 2019
5. IAF Chopper crash
A day after the Balakot air strike, on February 26, 2019, a military transport helicopter crashed in Budgam district of Kashmir. Three people were killed
6. Mirage 2000 plane crash
Happened on February 1, 2019. The plane was carrying out regular checks and crashed near Bengaluru, killing Squadron Leader Samir Abrol and Siddartha Negi
