Indian Bank sanctions Rs 1,050 crore through Mega SHG Credit Outreach Camps

In an initiative to empower Self Help Groups (SHGs), Indian Bank has sanctioned a total of Rs 1,050 crore through Mega SHG Credit Outreach Camps held at Hyderabad for Telangana and Amaravathi for Andhra Pradesh.

He underlined the transformative impact of SHGs on grassroots entrepreneurship and inclusive economic growth and reiterated Indian Bank’s continued dedication to supporting women-led initiatives through affordable credit and capacity-building measures.
The Field General Managers acknowledged the active participation of over 2,000 SHG members across different locations and assured that Indian Bank will continue to provide consistent support to help SHGs evolve into sustainable and self-reliant economic units.
