Hyderabad: Vanisha Surineni of Hyderabad delivered an outstanding performance at the AWPC World Powerlifting Championship 2026, held in Manchester, United Kingdom.

Representing India on the global stage, Vanisha showcased strength, determination and competitive spirit by participating in multiple events in the Women’s Teen-2 (60kg) category, securing three gold medals.

In the highly competitive Women’s Teen-2 (60kg) SBD event (Squat, Bench Press and Deadlift), Vanisha displayed remarkable all-round strength and lifted a combined total of 320kg, earning the gold medal and securing the top position.

Continuing her strong performance, Vanisha competed in the Women’s Teen-2 (60kg) Only Deadlift event, where she lifted an impressive 150kg to claim another gold medal.

Vanisha completed her medal haul in the Women’s Teen-2 (60kg) Only Bench Press event, where she lifted 40kg to finish first and win her third gold medal of the championship.
