Indian Railways enforces new Covid guidelines
To contain the spread of the virus, no linen blankets and curtains will be provided inside the trains. IRCTC will enable catering services to passengers through the e-catering facility.
Hyderabad: As part of the process to ensure the safety of rail passengers, the Indian Railways is bringing into force new Covid-19 protocols. As part of this, onboard booking by ticket checking staff of fully waiting list tickets will not be permitted and unreserved tickets (UTS) shall be permitted on limited trains only.

However, ready-to-eat meals, packed items, packaged drinking water bottles, tea/coffee/beverages, etc will be made available to passengers in trains.
Apart from that, the Indian Railways has also requested all the passengers to wear face masks at the stations as well as during the journey. Only those passengers who are found asymptomatic in thermal screening will be permitted to travel. On arrival at the destination station, passengers are advised to strictly adhere to the health protocols of the destination State/Union Territory.
