Indian Railways hiring: Notifications issued for over 32,000 vacancies

Hyderabad: The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs), Ministry of Railways, Government of India, have notified a staggering 32,438 various posts. Of the total posts, 1,642 vacancies are up grabs in the South Central Railways (Secunderabad).
Under the SCR, assistant (S & T), workshop, carriage and wagon, loco shed (diesel and electrical), assistant operations (electrical), assistant P.Way, TL and AC (workshop), TL andAC, assistant track machine, assistant TRD, pointsman B and track maintainer-IV posts are up for recruitment.
Recruitment process comprises computer-based tests, physical efficiency test, documentation verification and medical examination. The computer-based test contains 100 questions with 25 questions each from general science and mathematics, 30 questions from general intelligence and reasoning and 20 general awareness and current affairs questions. There will be negative marking and 1/3 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
