Hyderabad: India’s Aman Siwach put on an impressive display on the third day of the Asian Under 15 and 17 years boxing championship with a 4-1 win against Abubakir Duisheev of Kyrgyzstan in the 63kg category in Amman on Tuesday.

Aman added another solid win to India’s tally at the continental event, after triumphant results for both the men’s contingents on the first two days.


In the 70kg category, Anshul Khasa faced Kuanysh Urumbassar of Kazakhstan and lost by unanimous decision.

The results:

Under-17: 63 kg: Aman Siwach (IND) bt Abubakir Duisheev (KGZ) – won on points 4-1.

70 kg: Anshul Khasa (Ind) lost to Kuanysh Urumbassar (Kaz) – lost on points 0-5.
