Infant found dead in water sump in Abdullapurmet
According to the Abdullapurmet police, the infant’s family members who realized he was missing for a long time searched for him in the house and neighbourhood. The body was later found in the water sump.
Hyderabad: A month-old infant was found dead in a water sump at his house in Anajpur village in Abdullapurmet mandal of Ranga Reddy district, police said here on Friday.
According to the Abdullapurmet police, the infant’s family members who realized he was missing for a long time searched for him in the house and neighbourhood. The body was later found in the water sump.
The Abdullapurmet police booked a case of suspicious death and are investigating while the body was shifted to the Gandhi Hospital morgue for autopsy.
The parents and neighbours are being questioned by the police to get more details of the incident.
