Infant’s body found in hospital canteen dustbin in Zaheerabad

Sangareddy: The body of a male infant was found dumped in a dustbin inside the canteen of the Area Hospital in Zaheerabad on Saturday.
Unidentified persons are suspected to have left the body in the bin. Police have begun examining CCTV footage from the premises to trace the culprits. Preliminary investigation suggests that the infant’s parents may have abandoned the body, possibly due to their inability to conduct the funeral.
A case has been registered and further investigation is underway.
