Infosys to create 17000 new jobs in Telangana, expand IT campus in Hyderabad’s Pocharam

The construction of new IT buildings in phase 1, with an investment of Rs. 750 crore, is set to be completed within the next two to three years, providing space for 10,000 people.

Hyderabad: IT giant Infosys has announced expansion of its Pocharam campus in Hyderabad to create 17,000 jobs in addition to the existing 35,000 jobs, making it one of their largest campuses in the country.

Construction of new IT buildings in phase 1 with investment of Rs.750 crore will be completed in next two to three years that will accommodate 10,000 people.

The announcement was made at the World Economic Forum in Davos following the meeting of Infosys CFO Jayesh Sanghrajka with the IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu.

“Our partnership with the Government of Telangana reflects our shared vision of driving innovation, empowering communities, and strengthening the IT landscape,” Sanghrajka said.
