Inter first year student found hanging in BC Gurukul in Khammam
According to police, the deceased, Sai Vardhan of Mudigonda, came back to the college on Monday after four days of leave. He was found to be moody after he returned from home and during midnight hours he told his friends that he would go to the dormitory upstairs, but did not return to his hostel room
Khammam: An intermediate first year student died, allegedly by suicide, at the BC Gurukul College at Krishnapuram in Madhira mandal in the district.
According to police, the deceased, Sai Vardhan of Mudigonda, came back to the college on Monday after four days of leave. He was found to be moody after he returned from home and during midnight hours he told his friends that he would go to the dormitory upstairs, but did not return to his hostel room.
On Tuesday morning when the college students tried to open the door of the dormitory, they found that it was locked from inside. After a while they opened the window doors and found Sai Vardhan hanging from the ceiling fan in the dormitory.
On receiving information about the incident the local police reached the spot, booked a case in connection with the incident and launched a probe into the death of Sai Vardhan. The reasons for his extreme step were yet to be known.
