IOC’s 60th anniversary marked with health camp for women and workers
Indane of Indian Oil Corporation marked its 60th anniversary with a free cancer screening camp in Secunderabad, benefiting over 100 women, employees, and workers through preventive breast and cervical cancer check-ups.

Hyderabad: Indane of Indian Oil Corporation, as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations in the month of October, conducted a free cancer screening camp here on Thursday.
The camp, attended by about 200 people, was conducted by the Secunderabad Indane Divisional Office under the Telangana and Andhra Pradesh State Office of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, in collaboration with Basavatarakam Indo-American Cancer Hospital & Research Institute. It was organised for LPG distributor showroom staff members, women employees, and contract workers.
The camp was inaugurated by Mr Piyush Mittal, Executive Director & State Head, TAPSO, in the presence of Mr S S Vernekar, GM I/c LPG, TAPSO, Mr Sitesh Kishan, DLSH “G”, Secunderabad IDO, functional heads of departments, and Mr Jayavardhan Reddy, AGM-Corp Relations, BIACH & RI.
Mr Mittal emphasized the importance of health check-ups, saying that “screening today for a safer tomorrow” was the core concept.
“A healthy salesperson can only provide better customer service. With a mobile medical bus equipped with mammogram, ultrasound, and X-ray equipment, accompanied by a team of qualified doctors and support staff,” Mr Mittal said.
The camp focused on preventive screening for breast and cervical cancer, benefiting over 100 women from low-income groups.
