Hyderabad: The Governing Council of the IPL has shifted the league match between Punjab Kings and Mumbai Indians, originally scheduled to be played in Dharamshala on Sunday, May 11, to the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

The venue change has been necessitated due to logistical challenges The match will begin at 3:30 pm (IST) as per the original schedule.

This change was a direct consequence of the tension building up on the Indo-Pak border and related activities by the Indian Armed Forces and the security measures.

In the last few hours, many critics have even raised the question as to why the IPL cannot be cancelled given the alarming situation.
