Hyderabad: Former Indian all-rounder Irfan Pathan has picked up three Indians – KL Rahul, Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah in his T20 team for the year 2020. Though the year saw a very few matches in the year owing to the coronavirus pandemic, the cricketer considered the matches held in the year to form his side.

The first cricket series was held in a bio-bubble in England and paved the way for other tournaments across the world. He chose KL Rahul, who had a great run in the Indian Premier League and took the orange cap, as his opener along with Jos Butter from England for the opening slots. Indian captain Virat Kohli was chosen for the no. 3 spot while Pakistan’s batsman Babar Azam took the place at No. 4. New Zealand’s captain Kane Williamson, too found the place but was given the role of No.5 batsman. He was also made captain of the side.

England’s star cricket Ben Stokes and Kieron Pollard were placed at No.6 and 7 all-rounders. In his bowling line-up, South Africa’s Lungi Ngidi was Pathan’s first choice. He then went with Yuzvendra Chahal and Adam Zampa in the spin department. Jasprit Bumrah and New Zealand’s Lockie Ferguson complete his pace-bowling attack.
