Hyderabad: Indian Railway Institute of Signal Engineering and Telecommunications (IRISET), Secunderabad, celebrated its 64th annual day on Wednesday.
Sanjeev Mittal, Member (Infrastructure), Railway Board, who was the Chief Guest for the celebrations, said that IRISET has a special place in the hearts of all S&T personnel of Indian Railways as this great Institute lays foundation for a challenging career by imparting training on intricacies of signalling and telecommunications.
Delivering keynote address, CMD, Bharat Biotech, Dr. Krishna M Ella, appreciated the role of front line workers of Indian Railways in transportation of migrant labors and essential commodities during the pandemic times.
The GM, SCR, Gajanan Mallya, who presided over the meeting, emphasised on imparting training to grass root personnel of signalling and telecommunication department on modern technology systems.
S K Goel, DG, IRISET, S P S Chauhan, DG, National Academy of Indian Railways, Vadodara, Rahul Agarwal, Additional Member (Signal), Aruna Singh, Additional Member (Telecom), Railway Board were present.
