Hyderabad: IT Minister D Sridhar Babu said Israel has expressed its willingness to provide technical expertise for the State government’s Musi River rejuvenation project. To this effect, the Minister conveyed his gratitude to Israeli Ambassador Reuven Azar during a meeting at Secretariat here on Friday.

Recognizing Israel’s global leadership in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Cyber security, Sridhar Babu urged for collaboration in these domains to benefit Telangana. He also sought Israel’s support in defense, agriculture, water management, advanced technologies, and industrial development and Ambassador Reuven Azar responded positively to the Minister’s appeals.


Sridhar Babu briefed the Ambassador about establishment of an Artificial Intelligence City spanning 200 acres. He requested Israel’s assistance in providing advanced training for trainers in AI and cyber security, besides expertise in wastewater reuse technologies.
