Hyderabad: Animal Husbandry Minister T Srinivas Yadav found fault with Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan for interacting with media in the national capital, especially after meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and union Home Minister Amit Shah.

“It is not wise on the Governor’s part to speak about politics. How can she speak to media soon after meeting the Prime Minister,” asked Srinivas Yadav here on Saturday.

Interacting with media persons, the Minister said Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu had several times politely refused to speak to media. This speaks volume about his stature, he said.

On the contrary, the Governor held a meeting with a few media persons in New Delhi and spoke about politics, the Minister said, adding “The Governor should check about rules and limitations,”

Lashing out at the opposition parties in the State, he said it was unfortunate that such parties existed in Telangana. While, the ruling TRS Ministers and leaders were fighting on behalf of the farming community over paddy procurement, opposition parties were trying to politicize the issue. They should refrain from making irresponsible comments and statements, he said.

A union Minister asks State Government to get the people habituated to consuming broken rice. How can a union Minister speak like that, he asked and said interestingly the State BJP leaders did not condemn such statements.

Meanwhile, the Animal Husbandry Minister launched the tricycles ice cream carts of Telangana State Dairy Development Cooperative Federation Limited at People’s Plaza, Necklace road on Saturday.
