Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy on Friday accused Telugu Desam Party president N Chandrababu Naidu of putting politics above people.
Reacting to the high drama of TDP leaders in the Assembly, he alleged that Chandrababu had politicised everything. “People know he is frustrated. When I entered the house I saw him speaking emotionally. Chandrababu mentioned irrelevant matters. However, notwithstanding the evil plots of the opposition, none can stop us as long as we have the grace of God and blessings of the people,” he stated.
Jagan pointed out that even the people of Kuppam also opposed Chandrababu. The TDP’s strength in Legislative Council had dwindled and a dalit, Moshen Raju was taking charge as chairman of the AP Legislative Council on the day. It was Chandrababu who had talked about his (Jagan’s) mother, sister and uncle. “I don’t have media houses like Eenadu, Andhra Jyothi, and TV 5. They seem to think that false news published repeatedly, would become the truth,” he said.
He also said that his uncle was none other than his father’s own younger brother and if something happened to his uncle, it must have been the opposition’s handiwork. In this context, Jagan recalled that Vangaveeti Ranga and Madhava Reddy were murdered during Chandrababu regime and Mallela Babji also mentioned itin his suicide note.
