Sangareddy: Heavy rains in neighbouring Karnataka have brought the Jadi Malkapur waterfall to life, drawing a steady stream of tourists from both Telangana and Karnataka. Located near Jadi Malkapur village in Mogudampally mandal, the waterfall is the only one in Sangareddy district and has become a monsoon attraction.
Set amidst the dense Gottam Gutta forest, which straddles the Telangana–Karnataka border, the scenic spot draws large crowds during the rainy season. Apart from its visual charm, the area is also a hotspot for birdwatchers, with several rare species sighted along both sides of the interstate border.
The waterfall is located about 20 km from Zaheerabad town, making it easily accessible for day visitors from surrounding regions.
