Jagadguru performs Sri Chakra Maha Yantra Pratishtha at Jogulamba Shakti Peetham
Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam of Sringeri Sharada Peetham on Thursday performed the Sri Chakra Maha Yantra Sthira Pratishtha at the Jogulamba Temple in Alampur, Telangana.

Jogulamba Gadwal: Jagadguru Shankaracharya Sri Vidhushekhara Bharati Sannidhanam on Thursday performed the Sri Chakra Maha Yantra Sthira Pratishtha in the sanctum sanctorum of Sri Jogulamba Temple, Alampur.
He arrived at Alampur on Wednesday and performed Ratna Nyasa in the sanctum sanctorum. He was ceremoniously received at the Telangana border with traditional customs and Vedic chanting before being escorted to the sacred Shakti Peetha. After offering worship to the Goddess Jogulamba, he reviewed the Vedic rituals already performed, visited the Yagashala, inspected the ritual pavilions, the Sri Chakra, and then commenced the sacred Sri Chandramoulishwara Puja.
Prior to the Pratishtha, the Ritwiks of Sringeri Sharada Peetham carried out all the prescribed Vedic rituals, austerities, and preparatory ceremonies required for the installation. On Thursday morning, the Sringeri Jagadguru Mahaswamiji performed the Sri Chakra Maha Yantra Sthira Pratishtha at the sanctum of Alampur Jogulamba Shakti Peetha. Thereafter, His Holiness visited the other temples within the sacred complex and blessed the assembled devotees, according to reports.
Among the 18 sacred Shakti Peethams of India, the only Shakti Peetham in Telangana is the revered Sri Jogulamba Shakti Peetha in Alampur which also has the ancient temple of Sri Balabrahmeshwara Swamy Temple on the banks of the River Tungabhadra.
