Jagathgirigutta police arrest three in property offence cases
Jagathgirigutta police arrested three individuals in separate property offence cases on Monday. The accused allegedly cheated a woman, burgled three houses and stole batteries from an EV charging station. Police recovered gold, a mobile phone and four batteries worth Rs 10 lakh.

Hyderabad: The Jagathgirigutta police on Monday arrested three individuals involved in several property offences and recovered stolen property, including 3.5 tolas of gold and four batteries worth Rs 10 lakh from them.
The arrested person, Kamineni Shivamohan Reddy, a former paramilitary constable, allegedly cheated a woman of Rs 9 lakh and 3.5 tolas of gold after gaining her trust. Police said he had earlier been involved in similar cheating cases.
In another case, police arrested Garikapati Venkatesh, who allegedly committed a series of house burglaries in Asbestos Colony. He reportedly broke into three houses and stole a mobile phone, silver articles, gold and Rs 60,000 cash. The police recovered the mobile phone and three grams of gold.
In the third case, police also arrested Thota Guruvappa for allegedly stealing four batteries from an EV charging station. Each battery was valued at around Rs 2.5 lakh. The batteries, collectively worth Rs 10 lakh, were recovered from him after a special team traced him to Giddalur.
