Jagga Reddy must name culprit in Meenakshi’s RS disqualification case: Chintha Prabhakar

Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar has accused TPCC Working President T Jagga Reddy of protecting Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and TPCC President B Mahesh Kumar Goud in the controversy surrounding Meenakshi Natarajan’s Rajya Sabha nomination rejection.

Sangareddy: Sangareddy MLA Chintha Prabhakar lashed out at TPCC Working President T Jagga Reddy accusing him of protecting Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy and TPCC President B Mahesh Kumar Goud in the episode of Meenakshi Natarajan’s disqualification.

In a press statement on Friday a day after T Jagga Reddy spoke on the same issue in Gandhi Bhavan, the Sangareddy MLA said that the Jagga Reddy was trying to cover up the internal bickering within the Congress instead of finding out the culprit who was responsible for the rejection of Meenakshi Natarajan nomination for Rajya Sabha from Madhya Pradesh state.


He said that the TPCC Working President was trying to mislead by saying that the nomination was rejected for ignoring the commas and full stops in the nomination form. When Former Minister T Harish Rao spoke the truth on the issue, Jagga Reddy criticised Rao rather than finding out the culprit within the Congress.

Since Jagga Reddy’s wife TGIIC Chairperson Nirmala’s post was due to end on July 30, the TPCC working president was just trying to please the Chief Minister and TPCC President. He also demanded the Congress party respond to issues on building a Rs 100 crore guest house for Revanth Reddy, uniform tenders, government expenses, and hiring of helicopters.

The BRS MLA further said that Jagga Reddy, who lost elections in Sangareddy, had no moral right to comment on Harish who won eight consecutive elections in Siddipet. E
