Jagtial: Eleti Himabindu, who was stranded in Ukraine due to war between Russia and Ukraine, rerturned home in Laxmipur of Jagtial rural mandal on Sunday. Himabindu went to Ukraine to pursue MBBS.

Responding to the issue, State and Central governments took initiative to bring students back to India. Himabindu is one among some students who came to India on Sunday.

The girl’s parents Laxma Reddy and Jyothi and other family members felt happy over the return of their ward.

Knowing about Himabindu’s arrival, Jagtial MLA Dr Sanjay Kumar visited her home in Laxmipur. Interacting with the girl, MLA enquired about the troubles faced by her in Ukraine and her journey back to the country.
