Jagtial Micro Artist prepares idol of lord shiva and nandi on needle tip
Jagtial: Micro artist from Jagtial, Dr Gurram Dayakar, who had earlier prepared a replica of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir by using rice grains, has come up with another innovative art form.
On the occasion of Maha Shivaratri, he carved the idols of Lord Shiva and Nandi (bull) on the top of a needle. Lord Shiva stands in front of Nandi holding his trishul (trident) in the work. It took 12 hours to carve out the art form, which was prepared using a needle, nylon and pencil colors, Dayakar said.
It may be recalled that Dayakar, who prepared a number of micro idols, prepared the replica of the Ayodhya Ram Mandir using rice grains during the time of the Ram Mandir inauguration. The 500 gram mandir idol was made using 16,000 rice grains spending 60 hours.
