Jagtial:Three-year-old boy dies, bridegroom injured in road accident at Kondagattu

A three-year-old boy died and six others, including a bridegroom, sustained injuries after a mango-laden mini-truck collided with their car in Jagtial district. The family was en route to a wedding that was later cancelled due to the tragedy.

Jagtial: A three-year-old boy died and six others, including a bridegroom, sustained serious injuries in a road accident at Kondagattu in Jagtial district in the early hours of Thursday.

The mishap occurred when a marriage party from Nanded in Maharashtra was en route to Huzurabad in Karimnagar district. A mini-truck laden with mangoes rammed into the car carrying the bridegroom and other family members.


The car was severely damaged, and the child, identified as Rudra, died on the spot. The wedding, which was scheduled to take place the same day, was cancelled following the accident.

Local police rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to the government hospital in Jagtial.
