Hyderabad: Ashwaraopally under Raghunathapally mandal in Jangaon district has some distinction. Five decades ago, a water tanker was constructed in the village and it also got the first electric bulb in the entire Raghunathapally mandal.

After his demise, his successors established Potlapally Kamala Manohar Rao Foundation and are taking up different social service activities. Considering the needs of passengers, the Foundation has installed a water purifier at Raghunathapally bus stand.
