Mancherial: Jannaram Sub-Inspector Gollapelli Anusha was transferred amid allegations of corruption and negligence of duties. Ramagundam Commissioner of Police Amber Kishore Jha issued orders to this effect on Friday.

According to the order, Anusha was transferred and posted to the Vacant Reserve (VR), Ramagundam Commissionerate, with immediate effect. However, no official had been posted in place of the Sub-Inspector till Saturday.

It is learnt that Anusha faced allegations of corruption from petitioners and showed negligence in following the orders of higher officials while maintaining law and order in her jurisdiction. An inquiry has been initiated into the allegations levelled against her.

Anusha was posted as Sub-Inspector of Jannaram in July 2025.
