Hyderabad: Amid reports of the Congress leaders planning to inspect his farmhouse amid a controversy over its ownership, its owner Pradeep Reddy clarified that the farmhouse belonged to him and has no connection with BRS working president KT Rama Rao. He said he had leased his property to Rama Rao, who was his childhood friend.
He said the property had a legally clear title and there were no disputes concerning the land. If the government or officials had any doubts, they could issue him a notice seeking clarification, he said.
In a statement, Pradeep Reddy said he was ready to submit all relevant documents through legal procedures if sought by authorities. However, he objected to political leaders visiting a private property in the name of inspection and turning the issue into a political controversy. He reiterated that Rama Rao had no ownership interest in the property and was only the lessee.
