Hyderabad: Defending champions, Jawahar Soccer Club (Hyderabad), defeated Babu Veterans XI, Chennai, 1-0 in the final of the Pattabhi Raman veteransfootball tournament in Chennai.

Kannan netted the match-winner in the 39th minute.Earlier, JSC scored a 1-0 win aginst Evergreen in the quarterfinal.And, then notched up a 4-2 win via tie-breaker against FUC Chennai in the semifinal after the teams were locked goalless at the end of full-time.
Agilan, Habeeb Khan, Srinivas and Sudharshan scored for the winner in the semifinal
