Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad signs MoU with IIP

Hyderabad: The Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University-Hyderabad (JNTU-H) and the Indian Institute of Packaging (IIP) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to accord recognition to diploma and PG programmes run by the IIP.
The MoU was signed by IIP-Mumbai director Dr. Tanveer Alam, and JNTU-H registrar Dr M Manzoor Hussain and exchanged by Dr. Alam and JNTU-H in-charge Vice-Chancellor Jayesh Ranjan here on Wednesday.
As per the agreement, recognition will be accorded to two-year Post Graduate Diploma (PGDP) and two-year Post Graduation Programme (MSc) in Packaging Technology run by IIP Hyderabad and any other programmes introduced in future by IIP, according to a press release.
The programmes in packaging and other relevant areas of specialization will be offered on the IIP Hyderabad campus and JNTU-H will provide academic support and recognition on all issues for successful completion of the programme leading to the award of PGDP / MSc in Packaging Technology, it said.
The certificate for PGDP/MSc in Packaging Technology (PT) will be awarded jointly by IIP and JNTU-H.
