Hyderabad: Asian Institute of Gastroenterology (AIG) Hospitals has received the Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation after undergoing rigorous quality assessment by an expert panel. After the assessment, the JCI handed over the Gold Seal Approval, the universally recognized symbol of quality and patient safety, a press release said.
The expert international JCI panel comprising experienced physicians, nurses, administrators, and public-policy members recommended AIG Hospitals for the Gold Seal after accessing over 1300 parameters over five days.
“The accreditation is an acknowledgment of our pursuit for quality yet affordable patient care. It marks the beginning of AIG as a global institution in medical science with the sole objective of making healthcare more accessible for everyone. Internationally, JCI’s credibility in quality assessment is second to none and therefore the accreditation is a testament of what team AIG stands for,” said Dr. D Nageshwar Reddy, Chairman, AIG Hospitals.
The accreditation is followed by listing of AIG Hospitals in the World Hospital Search Platform (https://www.worldhospitalsearch.org/).
